On call Biometric Technician

TeleSolv Consulting is seeking an On-Call Biometric Technician to provide general support to the Application Support Centers (ASC) Operations and Facilitates Services for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). ASC's collect applicant biometrics and identity data (e.g. digital fingerprints, photographs, driver's license scan, passport scan, and signatures) and reschedule applicants for processing.

Core days and hours of operations are Monday thru Friday (7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.).  On-Call team members may be required to work an extended schedule which would include early morning, evening, and weekend hours.  No hours are guaranteed, on call employees can be scheduled from 0-29 hours any given week depending on applicant traffic. The situations by which the Site Supervisor may schedule you for work are when employees get sick, go on vacation, leave work due to emergencies and when the work flow demands increase to the point that requires extra help in order to get the customers processed in a timely manner.

Duties include:
  • Customer interface/greeting, initiation and completion of forms related to the biometrics processes, taking digital/manual biometrics, initiation and processing of database ID and quality checks, and reconciliation of interim documentation.
  • Administrative support includes meeting and greeting visitors to the ASC; receiving, sorting and distributing mail; answering office phones; answering routine inquires for information or referring requests to the appropriate source within the office; and providing clerical support.
 Qualifications:
  • US Citizen
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Must be able to pass our background and credit check process and be cleared for work by DHS.
  • Training will be provided to be qualified as a fingerprint technician.
