The Training Manager is responsible for managing and supporting the assessment of organizational training needs and the design, implementation and evaluation of training programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of the organization. This position is responsible for creating and fostering a learning environment and maintaining a Learning Management System (LMS). The Training Manager shall perform a variety of training-related activities to include developing training products, instructing training classes, and leveraging ADDIE process concepts.  
Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Support Company programs/projects by implementing training objectives and producing curriculums.
  • Contribute conceptual thinking and ideas for developing training curriculums. 
  • Plan and execute multiple and simultaneous team-based projects along with other individually assigned projects including providing support in developing and expanding the scope of the training program. 
  • Leverage training development subject matter/functional expertise, influence and process skills to help stakeholders identify and meet their learning needs while considering cultural implications. 
  • Champion and lead training initiatives; identify the best approaches for implementing development and delivery processes in light of organizational objectives. 
  • Ensure the training department is strategically aligned through all business units and business goals. 
  • Assist in development and manages organizational development strategies and processes. 
  • Plan and lead short- and long-term planning for organizational development programs. 
  • Build monthly and quarterly training calendars for organizational/project distribution. 
  • Evaluate strategies and programs to measure the achievement of established goals. 
  • Develop and maintain standard metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training using tools that include surveys, observation, and certifications.  
  • Maintain knowledge of the latest trends in training and development. 
  • Provide support to the business units regarding mentoring. 
  • Support selection of and manage Learning Management System (LMS). Develop and manage content in the LMS. 
  • Maintain records of training and development activities through the Learning Management System assessing attendance, results of tests and assessments, and retraining requirements. 
  • Select and manage any training applications.  
  • Assess training materials prepared by instructors. 
  • Prepare and implements training budget; maintain records and reports of expenses. 
Minimum Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education. 
  • Five (5) years of training experience. 
  • Five (5) years of Experience with oversee enterprise. 
  • Two (2) years of management experience of direct reports. 
  • Intermediate to advanced user of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. 
  • Strong presentation preparation and delivery skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills. 
  • Strong and effective written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Ability to manage a varied workload with flexibility, creativity, and persistence. 
  • Working knowledge of training approaches and techniques 
  • COVID-19 vaccination unless an approved medical or religious exemption is granted.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
  • Ability to organize activities for a team set priorities and ensure that work is completed on schedule. 
  • Ability to provide sound approaches to training challenges.
