Duties / Responsibilities:
The Customer Advocacy Group serves as a customer liaison; collaborating with the Customer Advocacy Team to ensure successful delivery of services, resolution of issues, and challenges that cannot be resolved through normal means. As an integral part of the Customer Advocacy Department, the Project Coordinator performs day-to-day functions such as:
  • Budget Preparation: plan, execute, and monitor budget baselines by decomposing program sponsor’s Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and further to executable work packages.
  • Project Quoting: Draft quote packages based on Request for Quote (RFQ) data containing various documents including integrated schedules, project plans, engineering drawings, correspondence, etc.  Conduct research and analysis of various DoD and DoN online systems in the preparation process.
  • Program/Project Planning Documentation: perform research, analysis, and development of technical program/project planning and execution documents including integrated Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M), baselines, requirements, procurements, schedules, inventories, status briefings, risk assessments, funding, executive (stakeholder) summaries, test procedures, change proposals, configuration management, deliverable schedules/metrics, WBS, research studies, project plans, and periodic reports.
  • Workload Planning: develop and maintain workload plans in conjunction with GOV personnel.
  • Performance Business Indicators: report and maintain data providing EVM, expenditure trends, funding level projections, baseline milestone progress, product delivery, customer feedback, and various financial reports.
  • Tracking Reports: assimilation, development, and maintenance of team action items supporting multiple projects.
  • Team Online Collaboration Tools/Websites: maintain project SharePoint and Wiki websites.
  • Project Team Meetings: coordination, scheduling, and facilitation of on-site and off-site meetings.
  • Development and maintenance of procedural desktop guides.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Active Secret clearance or higher (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Management preferred.
  • High level of attention-to-detail.
  • Advanced understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize assignments.
  • COVID-19 vaccination unless an approved medical or religious exemption is granted.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarization with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • Familiarization with the project management process.
  • Knowledge of PMBOK.
