About The Position:
The role of the Executive Assistant in the front office for the FPS Region 5 is to create an organized, professional environment for the Regional Director (RD) and Deputy Regional Director (DRD). The Executive Assistant will possess outstanding organizational skills, outstanding communication skills, exceptional writing capabilities and be capable of using the DHS systems necessary to support he Directors. These systems include, WebTA, Concur Government Edition, CATT, LEIMS, MIST, ZILT, Excel and Correspondence tracking tool and all MS office Suite applications.

Duties / Responsibilities:

The Executive Assistant will often be the voice and first point of contact for FPS in dealing with our stakeholders and other FPS Offices with the Region, at headquarters and across the country. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Use a personal computer for email, word processing, and spreadsheet software. 
  • Uses common office equipment, e.g., facsimile (fax) machines, copiers, projectors, and PC printers.
  • Performs high quality project support. 
  • Work with most levels of Government/client personnel. 
  • Handles confidential information. 
  • Maintains logs, records, archives and/or working files.
  • Handles correspondence, prepares reports, arranges meetings and/or travel arrangements.

Minimum Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Five (5) years of administrative experience.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Excel.
  • COVID-19 vaccination unless an approved medical or religious exemption is granted.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Eight (8) years of Administrative Experience.
