This position is fully remote but must be local to Norfolk, Virginia, Alexandria, Virginia or Kearneysville, West Virginia.

The Junior Business Consultant shall provide support to USCG and contractor business liaisons, and assistance in Agile business practices, business re-engineering, business process development, liaison and management services.  The Business Consultant will ensure the initiative artifacts are accurately documented, organized, and stored within assigned repositories.

Duties / Responsibilities:
The Junior Business Consultant will:
  • Provide support and assistance in government business practices, business re-engineering, and business process development.
  • Support business metrics development, facility and workforce planning, communications, and marketing planning.
  • Support workshops and coordination meetings, research, reserve, and assist set-up of venue.
  • Finalize and publish event documentation such as agendas, minutes, and read-ahead materials.
  • File and maintain records of event proceedings.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with subject matter experts on facilitation materials.
  • Task Order Specific Responsibilities:
    • Participate as a developer on BOD-PMB scrum teams.
    • Participate in the development of BOD-PMB scrum team backlogs and User Story refinement/definition and story pointing.
    • Provide support to BOD-PMB metrics definition, analysis, and reporting.
    • Coordinate stakeholders on tasks and review work products for completeness, quality, and alignment to BOD-PMB objectives and standards.
    • Serve as backup to fellow Call 4 team members, assuming team member responsibilities in the member’s absence.
Minimum Requirements​​
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Must have five (5) years of experience in business development, reengineering, and/or management.
  • Three (3) years of demonstrated proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. 
  • Three (3) years of demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • COVID-19 vaccination unless an approved medical or religious exemption is granted.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
