Our company is searching for an experienced Operations Manager located in Washington, DC to lead a multi-year, multi-location contract for one of our federal government clients.

Duties / Responsibilities:
Recruit, hire, train, direct, evaluate and mentor staff.
Provide ongoing training, as well as disseminate information daily from all operating locations.
Ensure that daily goals are met and provide operations productivity status reports to leadership.
Provide technical and analytical oversight to ensure short and long term goals are met.
Establish unit goals, objectives, priorities, and deadlines and manage personnel adjusting to meet existing and changing mission goals.
Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Planning/Program Management, Business or Public Administration, Technical Management, or related fields; or demonstrated, specialized experience of six (6) years or more leading a large-scale records program or operation may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Five (5) years of business/operational experience, within the past seven (7) years.
Demonstrated experience in addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction.
Demonstrated experience with developing and implementing operational procedures and policies.
Demonstrated experience analyzing training needs/requirements and implementing solutions.
Demonstrated ability to read and understand proficiently in English.
Demonstrated ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment.
Demonstrated ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
