Operations Manager

We are a growing organization that provides a variety of professional and administrative services to public and private organizations with global operations. Our company is searching for an experienced Operations Manager located in Washington, DC to lead a multi-year, multi-location contract for one of our federal government clients.

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, hire, train, direct, evaluate and mentor staff.
  • Provide ongoing training, as well as disseminate information daily from all operating locations.
  • Ensure that daily goals are met and provide operations productivity status reports to leadership.
  • Provide technical and analytical oversight to ensure short and long term goals are met.
  • Establish unit goals, objectives, priorities, and deadlines and manage personnel adjusting to meet existing and changing mission goals.
Minimum Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Planning/Program Management, Business or Public Administration, Technical Management, or related fields; or demonstrated, specialized experience of six (6) years or more leading a large-scale records program or operation may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Five (5) years of business/operational experience, within the past seven (7) years.
  • Demonstrated experience in addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated experience with developing and implementing operational procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing training needs/requirements and implementing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and understand proficiently in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
