Functional Area Supervisor

Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Ensures that work performed in functional area is performed to optimum quality standards.
  • Provides procedures and retraining to employees in functional area as needed.
  • Ensures timely delivery of all deliverables as they relate to functional area.
  • Tracks the progress of all activities in functional area and report the status to the contract Assistant Site Manager.
  • Reviews and approve the daily production report of each clerk assigned, paying particular attention to their achievement of performance standards daily.
  • Ensures that the SOP for functional area of responsibility is used, understood, and kept up to date.
  • Ensures accurate timekeeping by reviewing and approving timesheets in accordance with payroll schedules.
  • Conducts frequent internal quality audits.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with coworkers both in written and verbal communications.
  • Maintains a positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction while managing individual workflows effectively.
  • Performs process improvements when directed.
  • Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Public Trust clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of records management experience.
  • One (1) year of experience supervising records management program.
  • Two (2) years of experience as an acting shift supervisor or lead is substitutable for direct supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to express and exchange ideas clearly in the English language, written and verbal.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell.
  • Ability to perform visually to include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust to focus.
  • Ability to push, pulls, reach, stoop and/or bend and lift up to 45 pounds repetitively at times.
