The Alternate Project Manager shall be responsible shall be responsible for the performance of the Program Manager’s tasks in their absence. Alternative Project Manager shall possess experience in managing large-scale government projects and be familiar with government policies and procedures.
Duties / Responsibilities: The Alternate Project Manager will:
Shall be responsible for the performance of the Program Manager’s tasks in their absence.
Ensure that all personnel assigned to a task meet government qualification standards and receive necessary training.
Review subcontractor deliverables, invoices and approvals for payment. The PM shall review all deliverables prior to their submission for acceptance.
Manage this large-scale government project and be familiar with government policies and procedures.
Provide knowledge of military personnel automation systems and be able to work in a digital environment.
Provide analytical skills, time management, and be an independent thinking.
Three to five years of experience in education and training.
Bachelor's degree in Education Services or Business Administration/Management, Workforce Development or related field from an accredited college is required; or a Master’s degree from an accredited college, and minimum of six years’ experience in training and administration experience, and project management in the “customer related” service field.
COVID-19 vaccination unless an approved medical or religious exemption is granted.
Prior military experience or experience with the Army military education programs (e.g., ArmyIgnitED, Credentialing, JST, APT), and familiarity with government logistic procedures.
