Duties / Responsibilities:

Primary Job Description:  Assist government project managers in the C5ISC Mission System Support Product Line (MSSPL) with providing service deployment, delivery, support, and technical expertise for mission support systems that include USCG enterprise financial, human resources, logistics, and decision support requirements.
  • Provide guidance and direction for multiple projects in implementing business process development, business reengineering, and strategic business projects.
  • Manage projects of high complexity and to direct the completion of projects within estimated timeframes and resource constraints.
  • Coordinate across teams and with a variety of stakeholders to review work products for completeness, quality, and adherence to customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and integrated master schedules.                           
  • Managing projects of high complexity and to direct the completion of projects within estimated timeframes and resource constraints.
  • Leading and facilitating client meetings and exercises.
  • Identifying strategies for automating and implementing efficient work management processes.
  • Mapping complex business processes and communicating processes solutions to the client.
  • Creating project status briefings and reports.
  • Developing project artifacts including charters, agendas, minutes, and correspondence.
  • Identifying risks and issues to the trajectory of the project and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Develop project reporting quad-charts and facilitate Program Management Reviews.
  • Assist Project Managers with various day to day activities. 
Minimum Requirements:​​
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Seven (7) years of experience in managing projects with a focus on business processes or Information Technology (IT) project management.
  • Clearance: Public Trust.
Preferred Requirements:​​
  • Experience in supporting Human Resource, Finance, Logistics, and IT Service Management applications.
  • Experience in the installation, configuration, implementation, upgrade, tuning, and support of Oracle and Peoplesoft Enterprise applications including Financials, Human Resources, Enterprise Performance Management, Employee Portal, and Customer Relationship Management.
  • Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Project Online, Teams, Planner, Sharepoint, One Note, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarization with Software As a Service (SaaS) such as Salesforce.
  • Proven ability to support multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously in a deadline driven process.
  • Familiarization with DHS System Engineering Life Cycle (SELC).
  • Familiarization with BMC’s Remedy Information Technology Service Management (ITSM).
  • Familiarization with DoD/DHS Information Assurance and Cyber Security.
  • Experience with Agile Project Management methodologies.
  • Experience with document control, facilitation, and meeting management.
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Technology Systems.
  • Familiarization with Cloud Managed Services.
