The Senior Project Management Consultant shall provide support and assistance in government business practices, business re-engineering, business process development, business metrics development, facility and workforce planning, communications and marketing planning, and management-related issues. The Senior Project Management Consultant will be the contractor Project lead for the support of the Government Project Manager. They will be responsible helping the Government PM manage the overall effort and help decide how to best utilize the rest of the contractor team. The Senior Consultant will be the main point of contact for the Government PM. This project is focused on the O365 rollout of advanced capabilities, as well as other Microsoft tools upgrade and implementations.

Duties / Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Management Consultant III shall provide support and assistance in government business practices, business re-engineering, business process development, business metrics development, facility and workforce planning, communications and marketing planning, and management-related issues as designated in specific tasks order(s).
  • Lead a team of consultants providing project management support to the USCG for Microsoft upgrades
  • Maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) encompassing the key milestones for the team’s activities
  • Manage team’s execution risks, anticipating, addressing, resolving, and escalating impediments as needed
  • Work in partnership with USCG key stakeholders, managing expectations and team priorities
  • Ensure contractual deliverables are delivered on time and with a high level of quality
  • Collaborate with government COR and partners to establish key work priorities
  • Provide tool rollout planning best practices Subject Matter Expertise
  • Support Program Leadership, ensuring timely and accurate communications are provided in a timely manner 
Minimum Requirements:​​
  • Active Public Trust or higher.
  • Master’s degree.
  • 8 years business process or reengineering experience following their Bachelor's degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • 7 years of experience demonstrating superior writing and editing skills; specific abilities should include corporate communications, presentations, white papers, technical writing, and response writing.  
  • 7 years of experience in metrics tracking, performance reporting and analytics.
  • 5 years of experience with Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook and Teams.
  • 5 years of demonstrated experience in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • 5 years of experience conducting detailed research and analysis of technical data.
  • COVID-19 vaccination unless an approved medical or religious exemption is granted.
Preferred Requirements:
  • 1 year of demonstrated proficiency using the following Microsoft applications: Project, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Visio.
  • ITIL® Foundations training.
