Industrial Hygienist

Join the TeleSolv Consulting Team on our mission to provide quality and unparalleled service to our clients.  We are a growing organization that provides a variety of professional and administrative services to public and private organizations with global operations.   Our company has an immediate opening for an experienced Industrial Hygienist to support a long-term Federal contract in Kansas City, MO.  The individual will provide day-to-day operational support to the government Agency’s Industrial Hygiene Program.

Duties / Responsibilities:
The Industrial Hygienist shall provide support and assistance in:
  • Review submitted Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSP) and provide comments.
  • Respond to inquiries related to occupational health and safety.
  • Provide interpretation of situation and response.
  • Provide applicability of regulations, recommendations, or standard of care.
  • Discuss with other Subject Matter Experts about response.
  • Tenant complaints.
  • OSHA complaints/investigations.
  • Review and summarize analytical data and sampling reports.
  • Develop post-cleaning sampling strategy.
  • Schedule post-cleaning testing by IH Services consultant.
  • Participate in project status calls and project meetings.
  • Participate in discussions of sampling strategies, sampling results and analysis protocols. 
Minimum Requirements​​:
  • Seven (7) years of experience in the safety and health field.
  • One (1) year of experience performing asbestos inspections.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in biology, chemistry, industrial hygiene, safety, or other related science.
  • Public Trust security clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Possess a current certificate as an Asbestos Inspector from the State of Missouri.
  • COVID-19 vaccination unless an approved medical or religious exemption is granted.
Preferred Requirements:
  • One (1) year of experience with a government agency or a government contractor.
  • One (1) year of experience with Google Office tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Mail, etc.).
  • One (1) year of demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
