Our company has an immediate opening for an experiencedSubject Matter Expert Level IV, Acquisitions and Acquisition Strategy to lead a team and provide expert analysis and consultation for services for a federal client in the Washington, DC metro area.
Provide expert analysis and recommendations for acquisition efforts, based on industry and Coast Guard best practices.
Develop and implement enterprise acquisition strategies.
Establish a matrixed acquisition support services model.
Provide acquisition recommendations and acquisition strategy guidance.
Provide expert guidance, direction, and recommendations for multiple IT acquisitions. Requires significant experience in independently drafting all elements of an acquisition package including SOW/PWS/SOO, Acquisition Plan, Market Research, requirements management practices and justifications.
Perform acquisition planning and all required documentation with very little guidance.
Demonstrate expertise/experience in the following areas:
GSA Schedule 70
Contractor Teaming Arrangements (CTA)
Acquisition documentation and analysis
Acquisition strategies, and
Acquisition lifecycle management (pre and post award).
Conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data.
Read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directives.
Demonstrate proficiency in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ten (10) years of experience in managing, and leading IT acquisition efforts with a focus on achieving strategic goals and performing the following tasks:
Development and implementation of enterprise acquisition strategies.
Establishment of a matrixed acquisition support services model to an organization.
Thought leadership providing Acquisition recommendations and Acquisition Strategy guidance.
Significant experience in independently drafting all elements of an acquisition package including SOW/PWS/SOO, Acquisition Plan, Market Research, requirements management practices and justifications.
Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
Conducting detailed research and analysis of technical data.
Ability to read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directive.
